Herkimer Diamonds got their name from Herkimer New York where they were first discovered and were believed to be diamonds.  Although they may be much rarer than a “real diamond” they are not considered as precious (because they are actually a quartz) and therefore do not hold the same price value.  However, if you ask me the energy they carry is far more precious because they are linked strongly with the “Angelic Realm”.  Whether wearing them in a jewelry piece or holding them in the palm of your hand, there is something “magical” about these stones.  Not at all changed by the hand of man—the beauty of a Herkimer is created only by the Divine.  This stone measures approx.  1 3/4″ x  2, the top is a show piece and the back reveals how it was cut from the earth.
